INTRODUCTION – WORDPRESS WEBSITE SERIES

The purpose of this series is to allow ANYONE to create their own website, from domain purchase to fully completed project.  Why would I give away these somewhat secret directions that hurt my business?  2 reasons:

1.  Empowering people is a great thing.  I don’t consider myself a “mentor”, but I hope some will use this to grow and share their gifts with others.

2.  This can be a lengthy and tedious process that takes hours even if you’ve done it 100 times.  Most people see these instructions and think, “No way, I’m not stepping into that puddle.”  That’s where I come in:  I’ve got hip waders!.. ok, anyway.

One note before we begin:  This is how I do it.  Lots of folks do it differently, use different registrars, hosting, frameworks, etc..  Feel free to comment on changes you might make or a process you use instead.
